Setting the Clock Back

You think you've heard it all. Stomach ache, ear ache, back ache, coughing ache..... any excuse really to miss school.

But the baba log these days are getting a tad smarter, as I discovered the other day.

Both the kids got up as usual, got dressed, had their breakfast, felt they still had an hour to go, embarked on the A B C's or so they tell me.

At 9:15am I get a call at work....
"Mamma, we missed the bus."
"Why? What happened?"
"We were late," said Aneesha, "all the clocks were wrong."

Hmmmm, one clock, one can fathom, all three is a mystery indeed.

Aneesha swore she hadn't touched them. Then Dhruv brought mine over and proudly claimed:
"See Mamma, I can change the time."

And it's all for oushka-moushka Mickey the Mouse, who incidentally showed up on time on Playhouse Disney.
